Good article, quite funny yet passionate...
I agree with you, especially about rallying votes yet nowadays Politians are changing the agenda once in office ( using deciet) and so I see it as people needing to Trust God and do whatever they can to stop this from happening. Remember the wealth of the wicked is stored for the righteous!

It's not just one party that is messing things up. It two. Like Reagan said, Gov't isn't the answer, it's the problem. And I don't call it name-calling, I call it responsibility. Leaders are responsible for leading and when they lead us off the wrong path, they should feel some pain. In our current political climate, some folks need fired. Or impeached. Or something. When it comes to political and fiscal responsibility, I'm non-partisan. I'm for equal-opportunity butt kicking when it is deserved, whether you are a D or R...

While we have not seen economic stress like this in 20-30 years, we have not seen this sort of political irresponsibility since around the 1770’s.

Blogs are today what pamphlets and flyers were then. We all need to just focus on the issues and problems and avoid name calling. The great thing about our system of government is how easily we can change things. One can only hope that some of the waster, arrogance, and partisanship we are seeing today will still be in our minds in two years. Maybe then we will vote on issues and performance, not just because we always vote for that person or there is a D or R after their name.

Thanks for calling me names and insulting me. This is quite amusing... seeing as you doing the very thing you purport is wrong - belittling those who are different than you.

Isn't this the same kind of attitude that creates the problem that you seem to be fighting against (bigotry)? The same stance that suppresses the homosexuals and other classes? Sounds like you are part of the problem, not the solution.

Do you actually think by name calling and labeling me that you will really somehow "shame" me into silence? This country was built on guys like me standing up for what they believed and not letting anyone - even those with muskets - even those with power - to quiet their voice. Your attempts at persecuting me with insults and name calling not only fails to shame me into silence, but provokes me into having a louder voice for my beliefs. Thanks for the inspiration.

Lastly, I'm not advocating that the LGBT are treated any differently that the rest of us. What I'm advocating is that they are NOT treated any differently nor given special protections or preferences for their behaviors. I'm not advocating hating them or anyone else. Perhaps if you would not try to stereotype me with the haters, you wouldn't misunderstand my "stupid self expression piece".

Wow, this article is quite possibly the stupidest and most close-minded self expression piece i've ever seen. I personally am a straight 19 year old who has gone to both private and public high schools. So, I guess you can say I've been in a pretty diverse enviroment, and in addition to that, I also attended both a state and private college. So, who is the bad guy? Is it the homosexuals who keep to themselves and, as you said before, contribute more to society than the average straight person? Or is it you, the close-minded homophobe who's so insecure with your own sexuality that you sit at your computer all day trying to find ways of belittling a productive group within our society. Take my advice, and stop hating your father for making you the insecure punk that you are.

Are you kidding me?

You say that homosexuality is "dangerous" because the life-expectancy of married couples is longer. Whose fault is that, now? Last I checked, gays wanted to get married but bigots like you decided to block any attempts to get those rights. More likely to commit suicide? Last I checked, that was because of bigots again. For the record, the only "identity crisis" I've seen from kids and teens as far as their sexuality goes is again... guess what! Brought on because of bigots like you who try and push heterosexual lifestyles on people who obviously are not. So on those points, how DARE you even think that these effects are simply naturally intrinsic to homosexuality. They are not, they are caused by people who argue up and down that LGBT people should not be protected and given basic human dignity.

Your statistics on things like income are dependent on more factors than you are allowing shown, many LGBT people, especially youth, are in fact homeless because their families kick them out. Again... hmmm... I wonder whose fault that is?
